Bastani actually claims that Critical Theory is the same as plain old-fashioned skepticism, so what's wrong with Critical Theory? !! He actually makes this claim with a straight (earnest and punchable) face!! Critical Theory discards truth as a concept and pushes relativism, whereas the traditional meaning of skepticism is to question claims and assumptions with the constructive goal if arriving at the truth. Bastani is all ideological sleights of hand. |
