-It might augur a new development in anti-Russian propaganda. Yes, it just might, of course...but looking at it like that puts us in the typically destructive paranoid situation of suspecting/accusing fellow activists of being undercover police officers, rather than just badly informed on some issue, as most of us are. Criticism needs to be done in a tactful, sympathetic way. Margo subsequently offered a fuller, more thoughtful explanation of what she was getting at in that first post "What's up with this?" - which looked more like confronting people than engaging with them positively. It's an old left dynamic that wears out new activists and helps to send new movements into decay. |
