Whether it's Bolton talking on Fox News about the economic benefits of taking over Venezuelan oil, or a US official claiming the effect of the sanctions on the country is "sort of like in Star Wars when Darth Vader constricts somebody’s throat”, there seems to be a trend towards frankness about the US' imperial gangsterism, and an admission that human rights, international law, state sovereignty, etc, are all pretences.
