    With more striking statements:

    She writes:

The post-American era is taking shape rapidly. In Part 2 of my interview by Salon's foreign affairs columnist Patrick Lawrence, I discuss US support for terror and how it continues to view ISIS as an asset; how the decline of US unipolarity is making Washington itch for war and confrontation; and why the global shift in power is a done-deal:

Washington's bull-in-a-china-shop approach to international relations is a dream for its adversaries - yet it doesn't know how to get off that trajectory. Will there be war in the Middle East? Do America's grand proclamations (Golan, Jerusalem, 'Deal of the Century') exist if nobody is listening? Does America even count when countries are beating a path to China and Russia and helping Iran bypass sanctions? So many questions... In this interview, I try to give shape to the new global realities: Asia will rise, Europe will splinter, the trans-Atlantic alliance is meaningless, Iran and its allies will survive. Nothing is ever certain in the world of geopolitics, but today, "efficiency" lies only with one side of the global divide - and that will be the main driver of All Things.

The timing of her blunt statement on US support for IS goes nicely with the heralding of their point man Bakr al Baghdadi!
