I was thinking about adding to the end of first post here that I would think he should be arrested and...corrected (as the Butler in the Shining would have it) but then thought that if Maduro arrests him, that will be the pretext for massive intervention by the US and it's various proxy thugs. They are becoming more and more blatant and it's clear they are going to be heard to discourage in their attempts to remove this government and install their own and it's hard to see how things would get worse if he was arrested. I wouldn't put it past the U.S. to arrange some kind of "accident" for Guaido which is blamed on the government and used as the pretext for more overt action. What other reasons do you think there could be for not moving on Guaido? As the day has gone on, it is becoming more clear that this attempt has fizzled but they are planning some kind of march in a day or two I think. They'll have to get a rent-a-crowd from somewhere for that, given the lack of support this go received.
