just lately: Another article today: https://www.dumptheguardian.com/us-news/2019/may/02/why-we-are-addicted-to-conspiracy-theories One of those where they can list some far-out theories and then lump other things in with them to discredit by association, and all tied up with a Trump shaped bow to make it seem even more like Liberal Kryptonite. I had to laugh at this line though: But while conspiracy theories are as old as the US itself, there is something new at work: people who peddle lies and half-truths have come to prominence, fame and power as never before I'm not sure the author and me were thinking of the same people when they wrote, and I read, that line.
