    The Greens... Archived Message

I’ve just seen a post further down by someone saying they voted Green in the local elections because the importance of environmental issues, in the grand scale of things, outweighs all other political considerations.

While it is certainly true that environmental issues do outweigh all other considerations, I see no necessary connection between this and voting Green.

While voting Green in the local elections is one thing, I have serious concerns that decent, well-meaning people might be deceived into voting Green in a general election. The BBC, Guardian, etc seem to have been giving a prominence to environmental issues recently, and the recent climate protests in London also seem to me to have had a distinctly “Deep State” flavour to them (big prominence of Official LGBT movement, pink boat, identity politics, etc etc). I do wonder whether might be part of a wider plan to split the progressive vote in a general election, thus preventing Corbyn from becoming Prime Minister - which is quite clearly the Establishment’s main concern at present.

I don’t know what other people’s thoughts are, but I have always found Caroline Lucas to be a distinctly suspect character. NGO background, polished, and managerial - if she really cared about the environment, surely her strategy for a general election would be to encourage people to vote for Corbyn? I have strong suspicions she may be a security services asset.

“Since Elizabethan times the English and UK governments have employed a vast network of informants to spy on their own people. The only thing that is more prevalent than the level of UK State spying on the British people, is the rather quaint and naive view of the British people that ‘that sort of thing doesn’t happen here’”
