Only RUPTLY TV has stayed outside the Ecuador Embassy non-stop, pulling an all-nighter, to monitor. They report that lights were on in the Embassy all night and camera flashes were often seen as Assange possessions/writings were photographed until 5.30am today, when the 'searchers' finally left through a side door. WL Editor Hrafnsson notes that 'chain of custody has been broken' and that they know that Ecuador and other officials could have planted/removed anything from Assange belongings - so is it admissable in court? Did the 'searchers' glean Assange's defence from his private legal notes? If all of this was happening to a dissident who'd been holed up in a foreign embassy in Moscow or Beijing, the outcry in UK media would be massive.
