Good points. Media is silent... when there's a lot to report. For example: -- Ecuador's President Moreno's lies. Not only did he *not* obtain assurances from US and UK about no extradition (as he falsely said he did, some months ago)... now, with the seizure of Assange's property, Moreno shows he's actively aiding US prosecution of Assange. Yesterday, Moreno shook hands with US officials in front of USAID banners ... as millions of dollars are promised, alongside the gilded IMF load. -- Ecuador *withdrew* Assange's citizenship a few weeks ago... therefore it has no right to be disposing of his personal property to a country that has no jurisdiction over him -- The country that does have jurisdiction over Assange - Australia - has done nothing to protect their citizen. ---- - - - -- "When threatened, the State reveals it's not bound by law, precedent or common decency. The archetype for the modern state is 18th Century Venice: the oligarchs, bankers, military, spy networks, secret courts and torture chambers. Only the form has changed, not the substance"
