    And therein lies the problem. People do assume it is a lot less advanced than it is, because they often define what constitutes propaganda as being of the old foreign (it's always foreign) sledgehammer type so favoured by dictatorships: huge, poorly-painted pictures of the glorious leader adorning city buildings (not Queenie on stamps), state broadcasters (not the BBC), overblown funerals of leaders (not Diana, nor the Queen Mother), equally huge displays of military might (not MSM war porn, nor the 'get 'em young' Cadets, nor Remembrance Day symbols and celebrations), homogenised, group think children as evidence (not our children. obvs.), Russian constructivist anti-capitalist posters and other visual arts (not Hollywood) etc., etc. and all of which just goes to show how successful it is!
