My view is that the Swedes are not going to proceed with this, this... thing, because the Swedish courts are not going to allow them to, because the case against Assange is so absurdly thin and without real substance, completely out of proportion, that there's no way it'll stand up in court, probably collapsing on the first day. So, it's better, given the reluctance of the courts to go along with the prosecution services theatre, for them to drop it, or let it all drain into the sand.

I don't think they'll charge Assange with anything near a serious 'rape' charge, or even 'molestation' of the mild variety. Like the first prosecutor in Stockholm evaluated, there wasn't any crime committed and even if there was... 'something' it's too trivial to pursue and impossible to prove in a court of law.

I imagine the British media will ignore all this, too taxing for their little minds, way beyond Marina Hyde. I wonder if she'll make a cutting remark about her own crass stupidity? The case is collapsing around their ears. A massive propaganda edifice towering over everyone, but really built on a thin, fragile foundation of sand, which anybody with half a brain could see if they bothered to look for a moment, as Melzer pointed out. Only UK journalists are too well-trained, groomed and arrogant to realise any of this.
