What always amazed me wad the reluctance of the UK media and their tame 'legal experts' to conclude the bleedin' obvioius about the Assange Affair; and this was that the case against Assange was incredibly weak and without real substance or evidence, which is why the Swedes never charged him with anything, not in Sweden and not for years afterwards when he was being persecuted in the UK.

Can one really imagine that the Swedes wouldn't have charged Assange in Sweden and allowed him to leave the ####ing country, if they believed Assange, a foreigner, was guilty of raping two Swedish women? The very idea is ridiculous. Yet, this absurd premise has never been examined, questioned or addressed by the UK media, except through the protective lense of their crass Oxbridge 'humour.' The layer that allows them to face the massive injustices of British life, hanging on in quite desparation is the English way.
