Though at least you have Stop the War! fwiw. This morning there was one voice of opposition to joining another and Trump led confrontation in the Gulf, from Greens leader Richard Di Natale. THe ABC interviewed him this morning, and seemed determined to attack him for not admitting that we needed to help protect oil shipments because otherwise the Australian economy could be threatened! Di Natale tried to point out that this deployment would itself threaten those fuel supplies, but he got nowhere. Frankly I'm stumped. All that people can talk about is how demented Trump is and how we have to get rid of him, but now its "helping the US maintain safety of shipping". |
