... in this instance I'd urge some caution on the applicability to this case Rhis. What was clear from his talk is how rapidly the Chinese are jumping through the hoops ... e.g. creating 20 million jobs a year, 4 biggest banks in the world being Chinese since 2009 I think etc. You are looking at the long term, and as you well know this could be from 10 years to x years. It may be possible that because they can move so rapidly and because they are inventive enough they may arrest the LD for at least a while to be able to deal with it on their own terms, meanwhile creating the techno-cornucopia for a brief spell. And in the long term we are all dead anyway .
