All of which goes to show that some sort of compromise deal, leaving the EU with a deal that pleases no-one but can be accepted by most, as promoted by Jeremy Corbyn and as examined in Cook's article below is the only workable "solution". In NZ we call similar unwelcome compromises in politics as "swallowing a dead rat", do you have the same expression in the UK?
And, of course, this is a a "solution" merely in the sense that it causes the least immediate damage to the UK and EU economies, and to our society - it's no solution at all for the crisis of political confidence, the crisis of our environment, the crisis in our economy and the the crisis in social cohesion., but at least, dealing with Breixt this way, there is a possibility that some of these other issues, ignored in the UK for the last three wasted year, might be attended to .
