Amen to that. I think most people are heartily sick of Brexit, its divisiveness and the toxic atmosphere it has created. On the one hand are the hard core Brexiteers who want Brexit regardless of the economic and political costs. On the other hand are the intransigent Remainers who will be satisfied with nothing less than a second referendum and a reversal of the original decision. These include the LibDems and a Blairite rump more concerned with using Remain to undermine Corbyn than, it seems, paradoxically, actually stopping Brexit. Some kind of 'soft' Brexit is the best option of a bad set because it honours the result of the referendum but costs much less economically and politically than no-deal. Three wasted years indeed.
