I call being serious and sane not putting any faith in those who themselves do nothing, they bleat a lot, go to loads of rather influential meetings and still we have the same issue - gosh, Kyoto was a massive success was it not?
In the meantime individuals can do much, like cut back meat consumption, repair goods instead of dumping them and grow foodstuff in some unusual places - most of which I do myself, although an income of less than £20K does mean waste and extravagance ain't to be encouraged, hence my penchant for used goods, which are only dumped when they are beyond repair.
Still, I could just do virtue signalling and after feeling good with myself drive off in a large electrically powered car that has a larger carbon footprint than a 1970s Ford Escort.
