because I haven't read Ursula Le Guin (being a huge Zimmer Bradley fan now heartbroken following the revelations concerning her abusive nature), but having seen some of Le Guin's process the observation I would make concerning what I've seen and heard of Pullman (and the real reason I've chosen to give him a chance), is to see where he is going with his arguments/ideas..for; "one cannot escape one's fate but one may determine one's own destiny" https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p07sn3nj
