The authors have over-egged it with their title to sell the book. And yes, it doesn't solve the problem of resources. Nevertheless, I thought the statistics they quote (I didn't catch where they got these from - presumably not from the UN) were highly interesting. I think we knew that the falling birth rates were a 'problem' in the developed nations, but not in the developing nations. It's a new one for me. It will certainly change the way we do things, since, horrors, we shall be loosing the consumers! Let's see if there are signs of the population crash as the climate wierding gets in to swing.
