"It's a kind of leftie allergy, this fear of racism, which is at root racist, because what you interrogate when looking at the Jews and Judaism is not a race but a people bound by a historical myths and truths, family ties, social relations, to greater or lesser degrees. I think the allergy comes from a moral obsession which is like a blindfold with "guilty / not-guilty" or "good stuff / bad stuff" written on the inside. Probably rooted in Protestantism, mainly."
