Yup. If you view the whole thing as a strategic game (which it is), Corbyn has effectively got rid of his strongest players, or allowed them to be got rid of. The only way to fight the defamation, from the start, was to stand up to it. I hope and pray Labour get in but if they don't, Corbyn must shoulder much of the blame. The recent bollox about the Queens speech is a case in point; he should have been ready for the question and lead with volunteering at a homeless shelter, instead he waffled and looked foolish. It's a small example but typical of the inept handling of a hostile media.
