Galloway totally ignores how the Stalinists betrayed the revolution, attacked and slaughtered the anarchists who had been denied decent weapons (Read about the May Days in Barcelona) and basically, pretty much played into the hands of Franco who was supported by the Non Intervention Treaty of the Brits n the French (while Franco received aid from Germany n Italy). Stalin, of course, with one eye on the coming war with Germany, did not want to upset the Brits/French. The Spanish people were sold out; as was the social revolution. Never rely on Bolsheviks where social revolution is concerned. Or fecking RT commentators either, for that matter. Ken Loach seems to know about this (as evidenced by Land n Freedom.) I wonder what he and Galloway talk about when they get together. Be interesting to hear Galloway's views on Lenin/Trotsky's slaughter of the Kronstadters.
