There is nothing in the laws of physics stopping a workers party nor has there been for the last 40 years. Where is it? I have been waiting for one. Don't dare use Labour ad an excuse. there is no physical law stopping another party existing. Look at the Lib Dems, Brexit party, UKIP. All manage separately to represent capitalism. So where is this workers party? Ah look.. BBC website shows the workers revolutionary party. They got 524 votes. 524. 😂 Please, keep peddling this myth of a homogeneous working class bloc that knows it's interests and has awareness. It doesn't exist. I hear door knocking tales of people on zero hour contracts being offended at the offer of state help because they are 'entrepeneurs' The left needs to build a counter hegemony just like the neoliberalists built a hegemony. That means getting control of, or getting messages into the mass media, where most people still get their worldview. How? No idea. Social media isn't going to cut it. I would and have called for mass action eg strikes, protests, civil disobedience. But can we get the numbers? The big test is what will the public do when worker's rights are attacked as looks the case reading an article about govt plans re the withdrawal bill and EU regulations.
