Ta. I missed it last time. I got through about 2/3rds and had to have a break. My head was spinning .
There were so many examples of shoddy 'science' when there was a comparison of studies of African American statistics to African studies data (i.e. trying to use the latter as control). The latter (African sampling) was frankly laughable with minuscule samples, from a very small (and specialised i.e. miners, and all being product of completely skewed education system) sector of the population during apartheid period in South Africa . Zambia as well, with similar faults. These 'scientists' were obviously in the lala land, manipulating the data to fit the Bell curve. Basically technicians out to lunch.
Still 1/3rd to go. I hope the science got out of that rut! ... and into 20th and 21st century. Here is hoping : ).
