Just a point though RG - whatever might be the negtive. effect of aerosols on warming, the fact remains that the Arctic and Antarctic are melting faster than ever before, and that global currents are seriously disrupted. I agree that nothing is certain, but it also seems that Lovelock's belief in the self-regulating earth, and negative feedback stablisation, is not happening. Instead we have numerous positive feedbacks, and uncontrolled and unpredictable change. Most noticeable also is the death of coral reef - and estimated 50 % of Australia's now dead. |
