Therefore a loose military alliance makes sense. They have common interests. Note the naval exercise in the Gulf of Oman recently - C/R/I. Some rivalry over gas between R and I. From memory sorted out amicably. Easy to do this with Iran on the ropes over sanctions. Israel has taken out Russian AWAC relatively recently, in Syria. Not friendly. Like K says, Russians are biding their time. With the latest stupidity from Yanks, both C/R are waiting for Iran to make the next move. Most likely an out of the box chess move. Saker thinks 80/20 chance for war, so brace yourself : (. I hope not. From my worm's eye view ...
