Interestingly for some (and luckily for me), I don't own the land in Hoad's Wood my father bequeathed to me neither is it considered to be "held in trust".....and I am seeking no "deed of variation" at this time...I am currently receiving two means tested state benefits and would be heavily penalised if I owned the land as it would be considered as savings...the land will continue to be owned by my step-mother until either my circumstances change or she should die (hopefully that won't be for a good while yet either.. his widow was appreciably younger than Dad), ..doesn't stop me either visiting the land or possibly seeking to swap it (for something in the New Forest I could sensibly manage), or use it to help start a co-operative business #HampshireHempCooperative...all I will need is my step-mother's permission/cooperation..
