'Surrey County Council is on course to raise £763.9m from council tax in 2020/21, according to budget papers.' By how much will the borough councils increase theirs? Last year my local council (a useless Tory set up) raised council tax by 3%. It's a double whammy from counties and boroughs. Going back some years, I now pay per month what I used to pay for the whole year. |
