Possibly of interest: XR have been making noises about a 'tax strike' to get things moving on climate change. They did a pilot one last July targeting the Greater London Authority: https://rebellion.earth/2019/07/18/today-extinction-rebellion-london-to-launch-a-tax-rebellion/ and there has been talk of expanding it in 2020. Not sure what the consequences have been for those who withheld payments... Respect to Rhis as always for his principled stand! I |
