This liberal/pseudo-left rump has done such a lot of damage. We had 'Left Unity,' then Momentum, and now 'Labour Left Alliance.' On Saturday I went on the 'Don't Bomb Iran' march. It was really depressing – dominated by the 57 varieties of Trotskyism, Momentum et al. It's these people in STWC that destroyed the anti-war movement – looking the other way while imperialism was busy destroying Libya, Syria, Ukraine, Yemen.... (Thankfully, I found some people from Inminds and the Julian Assange campaign; and met Robert Inlakesh, some people here might know him). It says a lot that the majority of the UK population refused to vote for the 2 main capitalist parties in December. This is the ideal time for people to turn away from the dead-end road of 'social-democracy.' It will be interesting to see how 1st February goes – the first rally of the Workers Party of Britain. |
