Unfortunately, at some point in the last couple of years Corbyn ceased being Corbyn, whether due to personal inadequacy in the unaccustomed role of leader or due to the overwhelming - and unprecedented - pressures that he faced or a bit of both. I'm not so sure about the pressures being unprecedented, he was an independent-minded MP for decades. As Galloway points out, they can't chase you if you don't run and it isn't as if he was ground down, he never stood up.
