Dan Do you mean that there will be no radiologists? I must say that at the DGH where I worked, there was always a bit of a backlog especially during holiday times when a radiologist from a neighbouring DGH came over to do the reporting. I had to have a chest X ray recently and was told by the radiographer that the report would take 2-3 weeks to arrive back to the GP. At least the scans are computerised now. I can remember the giant sized photographic imaging, difficult to handle and store, each in a card folder.
