Occurs to me because I am a "service user" that patients entering into/currently undergoing any of the short-term interventionist group therapies (such as the CBT based 7 week course I was on last year), will now be at serious risk of having their treatment cancelled. Other parts of the service will obviously be affected, even regular one-to-one "care co-ordination" meetings at local health centres or hospitals will also (obviously), be compromised (not to mention the treatment of those within "warden protected" or hospital environments). What provision is being made to reach out to (often), already isolated patients with serious mental health issues (such as self-harm etc.)? seems to me that Covid_19 will shine a light on areas of practice and procedure already under-provisioned, poorly executed or simply non-existent....
