Not him. Any of his books on practical philosophy are full of such dilemmas Archived Message

He's always given me the impression he's anti capitalist and very pro equality. And not just paying lip service to it like so many. Though I don't doubt he's got a few quid in the bank. (We should be able to know the details of anybody's bank account.) Mind, he may be unknowingly colluding in some aspiration the BBC has at the moment. The issue of the elderly and respirators has been all over Talk Radio for the last few weeks - ever since the issue of herd immunity/the cull arrived on the scene. I heard some guy ring in LBC and talk about how he objected to looking after the elderly if that impinged on his kids economic outlook in any way. He then added he hoped his elderly mother wasn't listening in. Worried about the inheritance, presumably. Quite a few elderly rang the BBC during their Any Answers programme saying they would rather die at home than in a hospital gasping for breath. Some palliative care please. One was a GP. He'd written to the Prime Minister. Many old people are really scared. Some moron of a comedian was on something last night saying we should get rid of everybody over 80. The audience were in absolute hysterics. Divide and rule...
