I have been trying to find out the extent of private outside involvement in its creation. Failed to do so - provision of cubicle frames, curtains, beds, linen, trolleys and medical equipment, respirators, bedside lockers, cleaning and catering, staff accommodation and so on. Did find this about electronic records there going to a US company by the name of Cerner. Their MD in the UK is one Distie Profit. How apt. https://www.hsj.co.uk/technology-and-innovation/us-firm-to-provide-tech-for-first-nightingale-hospital/7027278.article No details on the cost of the contract. Perhaps this was a good time for a trial run for the future to get our identities all recorded. That is already taking place unless you opted out. Cerner is based in Missouri and has an annual revenue of + $5 billion. https://www.medicalrecords.com/mrcbase/emr/cerner-emr-software I have posted before about Hancock and his push for tech and the use of non NHS contractors.
