There is no board outside the dark web which has no administration or censorship. I recognise that me deleting or editing posts is violence and I refrain. However, there are obvious lines. Where I see it I delete posts shilling for neo-liberal murderers, zionists, fascists, racists, gratuitous abuse directed at me or board members and libel. The list is obviously growing. I definitively get things wrong but I don't have time to discuss or worry about that. Take it or leave it. My temperature is 38.5 degrees this morning on day 14 since I have Covid-19 infection. Who knows what that means for the eventual outcome? I have been childcaring for a 5 and a 3 year old for 2 weeks. It's a scary and stressful position to be in. My real world job is to look after people with respiratory failure. Our hospitals are overrun with people with severe lung injury such that hospitals are reporting that they are close to running out of Oxygen. The numbers will get worse for at least another week if not two. A large proportion of my colleagues are or have been unwell. I would expect that if I were working/when I work in hospital at some point I would/will be faced with triaging otherwise fit people to no ventilation solely because of their age. For me that is a disgrace and runs counter to anything I understand or value. The management of this situation requires that people isolate themselves to reduce transmission. With acknowledged differences in transmission, virulence and pathogenicity this is the same disease as SARS and MERS. I try to be open and Socratic wherever possible but I hold somethings as canonical. Pasteur's germ theory is one. SARS2 is caused by a novel coronavirus. Blaming 5G for severe respiratory failure and widely propagating that nonsense will make effective management of this pandemic more difficult. More people will die. I will not be an accomplice to that. It's the opposite of my job. I am effectively the owner here but this is not a dictatorship. Whilst I won't hand over the administration and thus personal details of the members to anyone there is another identical board set up which people can port to if that is the group decision. I will facilitate all debate at any time if there is a consensus that I am doing a bad job.
