you, in his campaign to get The Workers Party of Britain flying, George Galloway's analyses of what JC and his dwindling band of honest allies did amiss is already pretty clarifying. Like GG, I suspect that the ex-Labour party is probably finished now, "heading towards a 20% share of the next GE vote"; like the libdums a beached dead whale pushed into irrelevance by the iniquitous FPTP anti-democracy system in England; but also by its re-capture by B'Liarite bourgeois liberal boutique-party politicians: a one time working-class mass party dedicated previously to the abiding reality of the class struggle, but now no longer. So it's all a bit academic now, anyway. Goodbye ex-Labour! Sad to have to say that after growing up as a pleb in the old-Labour heartlands, and after a lifetime of supporting it, but - there it is. Eventually something like The Workers Party will have to replace it. All those hopeful younger Brits who flocked to JC's flag haven't just evaporated. Nor have their real, urgent political needs. Some credible political movement has to fight for them.
