My wife has to register deaths in community. Usually 1 death every 3 weeks, 12 in last 10 days. Several with corona symptoms but not registered as such on death certificate. Several more in the care home she visits. The undertakers have installed more fridges and they are now full too. The mortality is higher in high covid incidence areas. Rest of the country locked down two weeks earlier than London and is getting the advantage of that. It's not the lockdown that's killing people. It's covid and a broken health system. |
