Highland style, using just oatmeal (or flakes), water and salt continue to be delicious, filling and long-satisfying. Staffs. oatcakes equally likeable too. Like any flatbread, needs only a griddle and a few minutes heat. No oven required. Great precursor to the invention of yeast-raised loaves.
