You paint a rather black-and-white picture of rich profit chasers and the exploited workers. In many instances this bears little resemblance to reality. Around me I see lots of little businesses -- the pakistani guy cutting people's hair for £6, the eat in/take away curry places, the second hand bookshop, the charity shops, a small shop of `needful things' (but unfortunately not "essential") -- all closed. These are not rich people, nor do they serve the rich. Yet, they may all go bankrupt. Not the big Tesco down the road, with its essential products -- they're raking it in, all the while selling pans, books, electrical equipment, etc. while shops selling these items only are shut. Very convenient indeed! No, this lockdown helps certain big businesses. And those big businesses that suffer will likely be bailed out.
