No doubt there is an increase in food consumption, and domestic abuse and screen time but those are not functions of corona alone but also the human relations engendered by capitalism. It was a moment of clarity standing in a meditative queue in the sunshine with no traffic and no planes overhead. I live under the heathrow flightpath. On sunny days with no wind the planes take off in the opposite direction and fly directly over my house every 3 minutes. It has become very quiet and a summer of that becalming alone would be welcome and not just for me. I wasn't here for September 11th but I realised how inured to the noise I had become. As South Korea, Sweden and New Zealand suggest if there is sufficient trust and transparency between people and government there is little need for punitive enforcement. That is again a function of our disgusting police state. That state wants us to return to a time before with unthinking consumption. We need to evolve past screen time and alcohol and feeling trapped with our family. Some of the past month with a fever has been extremely dark. I am not a big fan but it has shown me an alternative in family relations and environment through reduced work. I have changed for the better and again I acknowledge my privilege. The benefits need to be recognised and captured for all and #### the capitalist economy. Whether corona is a good role model or not we are where we are. We can go back or forwards.
