...the pressing problem is that a government working for the interests of bankers and rentiers will have to become "socialist". It's a fact of life that you can't milk a cow with empty udders. Even the parasite of capitalism needs to preserve the host it milks. A few weeks of paying furloughed workers to save precious jobs...had already got the Tories squealing about the lazy plebs getting used to their ( government created & enforced) indolence. They simply can't handle the idea as it goes against every ideological bone in their collective body. Thats the real issue. We have a government in power which has not only proven itself utterly incompetent (-pssst! anyone want to buy half a million unusable Turkish gowns?)but is actually totally ideologically unsuited to do what has to be done to see it's way through the current crisis. - The the twats are still taking about Brexit when the catastrophe has already superseded it tells you all you need to know: ideology comes first.
