Like" Anyone else get the feeling that the omni-panic is beginning to wind down, and the perception is spreading in many punters that it's all been a bit overdone, particularly all the strong-arm stuff that's been thrown around so widely? I really hope you're right. Unfortunately, I don't yet get this impression from my neck of the woods. There's such an obedience to authority, it's scary, and depressing. The consequences of this fear-mongering are just not seriously considered. A friend of mine, working in a mental hospital, explained how, when patients are on the mend, they can (in normal circumstances) go out for cigarette breaks and visit friends for the weekends but now are not allowed to go out at all. With the obvious result that they're back to their worst. Yes, thank you lockdowners -- keep them in their rooms for their own safety!
