..because overall it is such a relatively small group of people. Almost everyone is a psychopath - not in the sense of meaning harm to humanity in general, but to one's colleagues it is really a zero-sum game .. Enoch Powell once said that every political career ends in failure. Well that's science. People keep going till they are taken down. Then they die, teach, 'go into industry', 'take early retirement', etc. When it breaks people, and it does, they can end up wanting revenge, like Mikovits. |
