To stick up for teachers here in the uk: I don't like to be considered a government official - on my meet only I see what's going on - I'll only tell otheer people for strictly educational reasons (I also don't require them to be on camera). I'd be much more worried about Google's powers (in terms of google meet) - i remember a few years ago there was talk of them searching through all google docs for terrorism or something.
