I tend to balk at yet another supposed 'technological solution' to the environmental crisis, one that further removes us from nature. But, Monbiot would argue, massively reducing farming would not only reduce its environmental damage but would free up a lot of land for 'rewilding', thus helping to reduce biodiversity loss. |
