Sorry to hear, Bremner, Bird & Fortune was one of the last times I remember seeing something like real dissent on the TV, certainly on foreign policy. This sketch was the only time I've seen the line of 'mistakes were made' challenged and a serious (while humorous) case made for the US being a sociopathic gangster state, rather than the usual worst depiction in media of a blundering do-gooder and generally well-intentioned world policeman:
As DTJ says, the door has been firmly slammed shut on that kind of informative, dissenting satire in the msm. Pretty soon people will forget that it's even possible, barring some miracle or radical shake-up in the industry. cheers, I
