    Decent? Nah. Archived Message

Look at the hostile contempt pouring out of her in this 2021 interview towards those who didn't want to go along with her draconian covid measures:

Interviewer: So you basically said this is going to be like, well it's almost like, you probably don't see it like this, the two different classes of people: if you're vaccinated or if you're unvaccinated you have all these rights, if you are vaccinated...

Ardern: That is what it is so yep, yep

Interviewer: Can you describe, as you were previously hoping not to be able to, not to have to do that, I guess when we still look like we could maintain elimination across the whole country. I guess that has now changed because...

Ardern: I think it was less because necessarily of the elimination determining that and more because we of course maintained it and actually we have managed very high vaccination rates generally without the use of certificates. But actually what it's become clear to me is that they're not just a tool to drive up vaccines they're a tool for confidence. People who have been vaccinated will want to know that they're around other vaccinated people. They want to know that they're in a safe environment. It is a way that we can give confidence to those who are going back into hospitality or events and so that is something that I think we should offer to people who have been vaccinated, that confidence that we're doing everything we can to keep them safe and that they can come back out and start enjoying those things safely. So it's a tool for business too.

In other words a two-tier society governed by medical coercion. Everything about this video gives me the creeps. The word that keeps coming to mind is 'fascist', even though I know that's usually a cheap insult. Something about her glibness and the refusal to devote any attention to the needs of citizens who haven't submitted to her policies indicates to me that she doesn't view them as fully human, as not worthy of her concern, as having forfeited the state's guarantee of providing 'safety' (always a conditional offer, it seems) or 'confidence' - perhaps not worthy of being considered as citizens at all. How is that supposed to make you feel, as an 'anti-vaxxer' or someone who simply has a principled belief in the need for bodily autonomy and informed consent? No wonder she was hounded for it, I think it's what she deserves frankly.
