Tomski - Thanks for the pointing out the incorrect spelling. Eazily dun!! Thanks too for the constructive comments - fair enough, you all make very good points. But it remains a fact that libel/slander action in the UK is a pretty big lottery and many good people have come to grief. But thinking about this, and taking aboard your comments, I'd certainly respect him if he did sue for a great deal of money, it might give his adversary Polly Samson a bit of a fright. The trouble is if he does lose, he is then tarred as an anti-Semite for ever more, and given even less room to say anything at all. It will be interesting to see what happens. I'd certainly be supporting him if he does and I won't need to worry that he'd be asking for financial support. . Corbyn would never have been in the same position as Waters, he could have been bankrupted by taking action. He was wise not to sue.
