What concerns me, is the left making excuses for the failure of Corbyn, rather than examining why it was so easy for the right to undermine him. What were the things that they did wrong? What should they have done better? What have they learned from the debacle? Why didn't they have an effective counter-strategy when he was being smeared? Why were they so passive? Why did he keep apologizing? Where's the self-criticism? Why weren't they better prepared for power? Why was Corbyn so eager to appease the rightwing of the party?
